Notabene een op leeftijd zijnde man van 93 meldt dat hij weer erecties kreeg! Toelichting Ganoderma lucidum (Reishi) werd getest in mannen met lichte-tot-matige problemen van de urine-wegen. Free fulltext-article,see: Original article. Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum): Red reishi, commonly known as LingZhi in Chinese, is a mushroom thought to have many health benefits. In a research study exploring the anti-androgenic effects of 20 species of mushrooms, reishi mushrooms had the strongest action in inhibiting testosterone (Ref. Fujita et al, 2005). That study found that reishi mushrooms significantly reduced levels of 5-alpha reductase, preventing conversion of testosterone into the more potent DHT. High levels of DHT are a risk factor for conditions such as benign prostatatic hypertrophy (BPH), acne, and baldness.3. Fujita R, Liu J, et al. Anti-androgenic activities of Ganoderma lucidum.
